About Talina Handel

Talina Handel, B.A., J.D. graduated on the Dean's List from the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law in June 2017. During her time as a Juris Doctor candidate Miss. Handel received four course prizes for obtaining the highest final grade in the Legislation, Administration and Policy course, the Family law course, the Contracts Law course and the Communications Law course. Her work experience in the legal field includes Teaching Assistant to two law professors at the TRU Faculty of Law, Editor for the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law, almost two years as a Legal Services Officer at Legal Aid Alberta, Panel Member for the Youth Justice Committee and Secretary for the Board of Directors for the Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre.
